Website revamp for a tattoo studio in Canada

About the project

Max Color Ink is a tattoo and piercing studio in Canada that is making a name for itself with its amazing tattoos and piercings.  Although the studio is quite popular among tattoo lovers, the website wasn't receiving enough conversion. The design was outdated and not very inviting, and the user experience was a bit confusing.

Our team was happy to take on the challenge of redesigning the website for the studio. The owner previously built the website with Wix and didn't consider switching to another platform, so we decided to still use it for the new website.

Our solution

First, we created design mockups in Figma to illustrate the new look of the site. This step was necessary to determine the overall direction before building the actual website. During this stage, we tested a few ideas for the style and then finalized the design of the pages.

The second step was building the website in Wix based on the mockups we created in Figma. In order to keep the current website live, we created a staging version and worked with that installation.

Thanks to the flexibility and responsiveness of Wix, the development process went smoothly. We were able to get exactly what we wanted in a short amount of time, and our client was very responsive.

Not only did we make sure the website looked great on all devices, but we did some SEO work to make sure it was found more easily by potential customers on Google.
